Welcome back to the world of Smithers, Alan Blunt, Mrs Jones and your favourite hero Alex Rider in Anthony Horowitz 9th and final book in the hit series Alex Rider. Scorpia is back and this time they have planned VERY carefully. As you might know Scorpia have failed twice.... against Alex Rider. Scorpia have also recruited new members, one of them being Razim. He forms a very complicated, deceitful plan which involves killing 15 year old Alex Rider, yes that's right Alex is now 15!! Scorpia sets a trap for MI6, only to prove that Alex Rider is working for MI6. One day Alex's school is targeted by a sniper and he is transported to Egypt for safety. Amazingly enough Alex is also needed for the mission in Cairo. Unaware that Scorpia is involved Alex accepts but Jack insists that she comes along. Now Alex has fallen into his death trap. Of course we won't tell you what happens, just that Alex's so called twin Julius Grief returns from Point Blanc and that a very important person leaves us. Let's hope Alex is third time lucky. 5/5 for Scorpia Rising and all the other Alex Rider books we've read!!!
