This book is about 3 children Violet,Klause and Sunny who after their parents have passed on [in a tragic fire] travel from guardian to guardian. The guardian is removed by Count Olaf who is trys to get the Bauldenaire fortune. Each book ends with an unfortunate event.Along the way they discover secrets of a group their parents and guardians belonged to and then the fire seems not so innocent .However the book is written so that it often goes off the topic which can get annoying and you often think when is something good going to happen
