Shannon Hale is an excellent writer and has written so many good
books.Princess Academy is about Miri and her village.When they realise
that the future princess comes from her homeland an academy is set up
to train the girls of the village on how to be a proper princess.When
unexpected danger arrives it`s up to Miri to defeat the villains but
somehow Miri has the desire to be chosen.Of course there are some
things that are in the book that could have been left out but all in
all it`s a good book.The ending is however very different as I
imagined. A Newberry Honour Book. 3/5
